Commerce Lake in Oakland County

Commerce Lake in Oakland County Michigan is a private all sports lake that is about 236 acres in size.  It is actually two different lakes North Commerce Lake and South Commerce Lake but many people just refer to them as Commerce Lake.  Many people like living on Commerce Lake in Commerce Township because it is not too far out.  It is relatively easy to get to M-5 or I-696 expressways.

Lake homes on Commerce Lake are a mixed bag.  Yes there are still some small lake cottages still on the lake, but there are many beautiful updated and newer homes on the lake.  Lake lots vary in size from 35′ to over 100′.  So some houses are close together and others have some room.  Take a look at the video below.  If you have any questions about any of the local lakes give me a call on my cell at (248) 310-6239.

Pine Lake in West Bloomfield Michigan is one of Oakland County’s prestigious lakes.  You will find  that Cass Lake homes  in West Bloomfield Lakefront homes are similar.  You will find large luxury estates on both lakes.  Cass Lake is Oakland County’s largest lake at 1280 acres.  Cass Lake is a public lake and can be quite congested because of the size of the lake and the DNR access.  Pine Lake is much smaller and the boat traffic is lighter.  Pleasant Lake in Waterford Michigan is a smaller all sports lake just south of M-59.

Lakefront Foreclosures on Coon Lake in Livingston County are very rare in the last few years, but Coon Lake is a very nice small lake.  Cordley Lake Waterfront Properties range from small cottages to average size homes.  I have seen small Cordley lake cottages that are as small as 900 square feet.  Cordley Lake has a beautiful blue green color to it.  I always recommend for any lake home buyer to drive around the lakes you are interested in.  Talk to some of the lake home owners that are out.  That is the best way to learn about a lake.
